Baptism

For Catholics, the Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the Church's way of celebrating and enacting the embrace of God.

The Sacrament of Baptism is administered as needed. If you have a child to be baptized, please follow these guidelines:

Eucharist

As Catholics, we believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.Receiving Christ's Body and Blood, nourishes us spiritually and brings us closer to God.

Reconciliation

The Catholic Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Penance, or Penance and Reconciliation) has three elements: conversion, confession and celebration. In it we find God's unconditional forgiveness; as a result we are called to forgive others. For confession times or to make an appointment, visit our Mass/Liturgy Times page.

Confirmation

Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation. Receiving this Sacrament helps us to live fully in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Anointing of the Sick

The Catholic Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, also known as Last Rites or Extreme Unction, is a ritual of healing appropriate not only for physical but also for mental and spiritual sickness. This Sacrament is intended for those who especially need God’s grace and strength during time of illness. If you know someone or have a family member who is in need of this Sacrament, please contact the Fr. Paschal or a Pastoral Associate.

Mass of Anointing and Homebound Visits

A communal celebration of this Sacrament takes place at a Mass of Anointing held every year. Please refer to the calendar of events for the next Mass of Anointing. If you, a friend or relative in the hospital or homebound, please notify our Pastoral Associate in charge of Health Care Ministry. She will make arrangements for a visit by the Parish Priest or a member of our staff who bring communion to the sick and homebound. Our Shut-Ins are visited at least once a month a member of the staff or a Eucharistic Minister. It is extremely important for you to contact the Parish since HIPPA privacy regulations names are not frequently forwarded to the Parish Staff. Therefore, it is imperative that you contact us so we can reach out to those who are sick in need of communion calls and hospital visits. Thank you. Marriage Vows

For Catholics, the Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person. It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God's values.

Couples wishing to be married must follow the following steps:

Contact the Priest whom they wish to witness their marriage vows and arrange a date and time. DO NOT AGREE TO RENT A HALL OR MAKE ANY OTHER ARRANGEMENTS UNTIL THIS HAS BEEN DONE. You must contact the Parish Priest AT LEAST SIX (6) MONTHS before the desired date of the wedding.
All couples who desire to be married must complete a recognized marriage instruction. Consult the Catholic Review for dates and places of those conferences held in the area. There are many options which the consulting priest can suggest in choosing a conference held in the area. Holy Orders

In the Sacrament of Holy Orders, or Ordination, the priest being ordained vows to lead other Catholics by bringing them the sacraments (especially the Eucharist), by proclaiming the Gospel, and by providing other means to holiness. The parishioners are encouraged to pray for vocations as well as to support seminarians and diaconate candidates serving at the parish.
