Saint Benedict Parish is pleased to announce their newly published Stations of the Cross devotional book featuring the Neo-Gothic Stations of Saint Benedict Parish executed by Philadelphia's D’Ascensio Studios ca. 1933. This 48 page book, printed with sanguine and metallic inks, features meditations by James E. Adams and contains an introduction to Stations devotion and a history of their development in the life of the Church. Handsomely printed and bound, this book is the perfect Lenten companion for private meditation in the home or in church.
The release of this book is held in conjunction with the ‘Christ Renews His Parish’ renewal. Fr. Paschal Morlino, O.S.B., Pastor of the parish, hopes that "this small treasure of prayer and reflection will lift you up during Lent and beyond, to lead you to the foot of the Cross of our redemption with His Mother. And then to the Empty Tomb where we join the apostles, and the angels, in proclaiming, “Glory to Thee, O Christ our God, glory to Thee!”
