Celebrating 25 Years of Fr. Paschal at St. Benedict's!

Christmas 2005

On July 12, 2009, parishioners and friends gathered to celebrate with Fr. Paschal his 25th anniversary of being at St. Benedict Church and Parish.  It is a wonder how many lives Father has touched throughout the years and the impact he has had on the neighborhood.  We are truly blessed to have him here; may God continue to bless Fr. Paschal with the love, dedication, and strength it takes to do his demanding job.

Baltimore City Councilwoman Agnes Welch joined St. Benedict parishioners on Sunday, July 12, after 11 o'clock Mass to read a Mayoral proclamation recognizing Fr. Paschal's invaluable contributions to the neighborhood.

After which a new street sign on Wilkens Avenue was revealed, "Paschal's Way."   This sign is on the light pole directly in front of the church.

The celebration continued in the School Hall as everyone gathered for lunch.  It seemed appropriate for Fr. Paschal to give the blessing.

Parishioners and friends prepared dishes and bakery items for lunch.

Sister B made a special trip from Emmitsburg to celebrate with her very good friend Fr. Paschal.  The trip gave Sister B the opportunity to catch-up with everyone and to give a word of encouragement to our volunteers.

Someone forgot to lock the door before these two jokers came in - Marty and Father's cousin, Sal, joined the festivities.

Father Paschal throughout the years from the innocent young man to a monk incognito hiding from Roman paparazzi.

Thank you Father Paschal for all you do!
